Hi! I'm Vivianne! I use pronouns she/her or they/them. I have an interest in gardening, art, and animation. You can check out my jokey little Carrd here.
I have an old classic cartoon blog (external), as well as an old blog for classic entertainment & historical fashion (external). My memory isn’t the best, but lately I’ve been very interested in history. Particularly fashion and entertainment from around the Edwardian era, medieval ways of life and folklore, and in life in the ancient world. I have an interest in world religion, especially "pagan" European indiginous religions in historical context. At present, I am a bit new to folkloric study, but I want to learn more about that soon. Military history is the only branch that has never really interested me; I'm much more into knowing what was happening domestically.
In the realm of animation, I am at present very into Fionna and Cake, and it's encouraging me to rewatch Adventure Time. Lately, I've also been into Revolutionary Girl Utena, Deltarune, Sam & Max, and Kirby. I am also known to be a fan of Fleischer cartoons from the 1930s and Looney Tunes cartoons.
My top priority at the moment is developing original stories that can be translated to indie animation. Similarly, I need to remember how to have fun with my writing LOL. Very soon I'll be setting up Toyhou.se profiles for my characters so that I can share them with others before any animation is ready, and experience more community that way perhaps? On the topic of community don't forget to sign my guestbook! I may impliment a cbox sometime later, but feel free to DM any of my socials listed above or on my Carrd if we have similar interests, I love making new friends online.
Note that the stamps, buttons, and buddy icons pages are image dumps that may not have descriptions.
I also listen to jazz, though not usually by the album. My favorite artists are Cab Calloway, Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, Rudy Vallée, Ruth Etting, Doris Day, and Peggy Lee. I'm a big fan of the movie Stormy Weather (1943) and reccomend it if you're into jazz.
